Matha Yang
Client Relationship Manager
Matha joined Nicholson Meyer Capital Management in 2026 as a Client Relationship Manager.
Stepping out of her first professional career as an educator, Matha transfers her administrative, educational, and relational skills to her work within Nicholson Meyer.
Her educational background started with a Secondary English Language Arts Education degree from Emporia State University in 2014, and she later received her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas in 2018.
Matha had a fulfilling and successful teaching career from 2014 to 2026 where she taught middle school for seven years and then high school for the last five. She is honored to have earned Teacher of the Year at both schools where she taught.
While she will always cherish her memories of the classroom, she is pleased to use her skills to contribute to Nicholson Meyer. She looks forward to her continual professional growth in capital management and the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s continued success and their client-first priority.
She spends most of her free time with her husband, Yia, and their dog, Greenie. Matha also enjoys time with family and friends, reading, writing, cooking, nature, and learning new things.
